Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 shifts per week (36 hours/week)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients on the Geropsychiatric Unit
Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, symptoms, and changes
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team
Conduct therapeutic interventions and groups within a structured milieu
Perform mental and physical assessments, and assist with daily activities
Coordinate discharge planning and maintain accurate patient histories
Collaborate with physicians, team members, and outside agencies to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Valid and active RN license in the State of New Hampshire
Current BLS certification (AHA)
Minimum 1 year of previous nursing experience preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment

Education

Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) or diploma from a 3-year nursing program required
Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Medical terminology proficiency
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills
Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication
Knowledge of psychiatric and geriatric nursing principles
Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing patient needs
