Registered Nurse - Behavioral Health Pediatric
Location: Grand Rapids, Michigan

Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours guaranteed with opportunity for up to 48 hours per week
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $53 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assess care needs and craft personalized plans with your interdisciplinary team
- Coordinate compassionate nursing care for pediatric behavioral health patients
- Foster safe environments and provide emotional support to patients and families
- Lead as a clinical expert, delegating tasks and mentoring staff
- Document meticulously and report risks to ensure top-tier patient safety
- Champion recovery-focused care in residential and hospital settings
Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license required at submission
- BLS certification
- 2 years of behavioral health experience
- Pediatric experience to make an immediate impact
Education
- Registered Nurse licensure
Knowledge & Skills
- Expertise in behavioral health and pediatric nursing
- Strong compassion, integrity, and customer service skills
- Leadership in team coordination and staff development
- Proficiency in care planning, milieu management, and discharge education
