Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, weekdays with occasional weekend and holiday coverage as needed

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide clinical nutrition assessments and interventions for patients across multiple units including telemetry, med/surg, general medical, and medical ICU
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to optimize patient nutritional outcomes
Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans
Educate patients and families on dietary modifications and therapeutic diets
Document patient progress in the Cerner EMR system
Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to nutrition services

Qualifications

Minimum of one year experience as a Registered Dietitian
Acute care hospital experience highly preferred
Registered Dietitian (RD) credential required
Must be willing to float to all units as needed

Education

Bachelor's degree in Nutrition or related field

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical dietetics knowledge for low to moderate acuity patients
Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
