Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Plan and implement therapeutic recreation activities to improve patients' physical, social, and emotional well-being
- Assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans using creative interventions
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to integrate recreation therapy into overall care
- Document patient progress and adjust activities to meet therapeutic goals
- Lead group and individual sessions to promote engagement and rehabilitation
Qualifications
- Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) required
- Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or related field preferred
- Current CPR certification
- Experience in mental health or psychiatric settings is a plus
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge of therapeutic recreation modalities and assessment tools
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect with patients and staff
- Creative problem-solving and adaptability in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in documentation and electronic health records
