Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Varied shifts (8, 10, or 12 hours) - specific schedule provided upon interview; weekend, holiday, and call requirements as needed.

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic CT scans and X-rays in a fast-paced radiology department
Operate Philips iPatient 64 and Big Bore 16 CT systems with proficiency
Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff in OR, ER, and inpatient/outpatient settings
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Maintain accurate patient records in Cerner EMR system
Adapt quickly to varying shift lengths and patient volumes

Qualifications

At least 2 years of recent CT experience (first-time travelers welcome!)
Valid ARRT certification and California Fluoroscopy permit
Current BLS certification from American Heart Association
Level II Trauma experience preferred but not required
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, self-starter environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in CT and diagnostic radiology
Experience with Cerner EMR and Philips CT equipment
Knowledge of radiation safety and imaging protocols
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
