Education

• Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements Yes ARRT (R) required
• How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 3 XR rooms and 5 portables
• Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Pain Clinic when/if needed
• Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties OR, Portables and outpatient exams
• Experience or 'Must have' skills MUST have OR/C-arm experience
• Average # of scans/studies per day 20-30 exams per day
• EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use We have Epic and PACS
• Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Siemens rooms, Shimadzu and Carestream portables
• Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech George Semenov in my absence
• Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
• Radiologist in-house? Yes, IR/PA radiologists
• Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) No
• Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?)4x10s or 3x12s
