Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform and process X-Rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and send them to a Radiologist for interpretation
• Unload portable X-Ray equipment and bring it into facilities to perform physician ordered exams
• Capture clinically diagnostic, technically competent X-Ray images that make a real difference in patient care
• Perform EKGs as needed and transmit them to a Cardiologist for interpretation
• Scan exam related paperwork and billing documents daily per protocol
• Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, peers, and supervisory staff
• Interact professionally with clients and care teams while keeping patients comfortable
• Maintain your vehicle and X-Ray equipment so you are always ready for the next stop

Qualifications

• Current ARRT Certification and Radiologic Technology credentials
• Active California state license in good standing
• Valid driver's license in the applicable state, kept in good standing at all times
• Willingness to maintain required state licenses, health requirements, and operational requirements
• COVID-19 vaccination required, or an approved exemption with proper documentation
• Comfort with mobile radiography and working independently on the move
• A friendly, professional approach with patients, facilities, and teammates

Education

• Valid driver’s license in the applicable state and in good current standing at all times.[REQUIRED]
• Vaccination

• seeking an exemption must submit proper documentation supporting their request. [REQUIRED]

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in portable digital radiography (DR) and computed radiography (CR)
• Solid grasp of X-Ray imaging technique and image quality standards
• EKG experience is a nice bonus, we can support your growth here
• Strong patient care instincts and a calm, reassuring bedside manner
• Clear communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, management, and clients
• Attention to detail for exam paperwork and billing documentation
• Equipment and vehicle upkeep know-how to keep your day running smoothly
• Self-motivated and comfortable with autonomy and a variety of patients
