Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10-hour shifts

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver prescribed radiation treatments using linear accelerators such as Trubeam and other advanced equipment
Perform accurate patient setup and immobilization, verifying treatment plans in EPIC and Aria systems
Collaborate with radiation oncologists and physicists to ensure precise treatment delivery
Monitor patients during treatment, addressing any concerns and ensuring safety and comfort
Maintain detailed documentation of treatments and equipment quality assurance checks
Participate in orientation and ongoing training to stay current with technology and protocols

Qualifications

Current ARRT (T) certification required
Current BLS certification required
Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a Radiation Therapist
Experience with EPIC, Aria, Trubeam, Vision RT, and CT preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in external beam radiation (EBRT) and internal radiation therapy (IRT)
Experience with advanced techniques such as IMRT, IGRT, VMAT, SRT, and 3D-CRT
Strong patient care and communication skills
Knowledge of treatment planning systems and radiation safety protocols
Familiarity with proton therapy, brachytherapy, and stereotactic radiosurgery
