Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patient mobility and develop individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and manual techniques to improve function
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Document progress notes and communicate outcomes with the interdisciplinary team
• Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• Current state Physical Therapist license in Virginia
• Minimum of 1 year clinical experience in acute or post‑acute rehab settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage a full caseload independently

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation techniques
• Proficiency in gait training and functional mobility assessments
• Skilled in using therapeutic equipment and modalities
• Excellent documentation and electronic health record skills
