Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and build personalized treatment plans that get them moving again
• Deliver hands-on therapy, therapeutic exercise, and functional mobility training
• Track patient progress and adjust care plans as goals are met
• Document treatments accurately and on time in the facility system
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, and rehab teammates to coordinate care
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe movement
• Help restore independence and confidence for residents recovering from injury, surgery, or illness

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in the state of Maine or the ability to obtain one
• Current BLS certification
• Doctor of Physical Therapy or Master of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program
• Skilled nursing or rehab experience is a big plus, though new travelers with solid clinicals are welcome to apply
• Strong communication skills and a genuine love for patient care
• Ability to bring a state or federal issued ID and wear a photo badge at all times
• A team player mindset with a can-do attitude
