Roles & Responsibilities

• Consult with patients to understand their physical condition and symptoms
• Develop individualized treatment plans to restore function and reduce pain
• Use hands-on therapy, massage, and therapeutic exercises to promote healing
• Educate and coach patients on exercises and stretches for optimal recovery
• Maintain detailed records of patient progress and communicate with care team

Qualifications

• Masters Degree from an accredited physical therapy program
• Experience working with patients in a long term care or hospital setting
• Current Physical Therapist state license (must be active)
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months

Education

• Masters Degree from an accredited physical therapy program

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent documentation and verbal communication skills
• Ability to provide age-appropriate care
• Team player with strong patient service orientation
• Knowledge of rehabilitation principles and techniques
