Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to help them regain strength, function, and confidence
• Build and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
• Document services accurately and on time so every patient's story is complete
• Supervise and mentor Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in line with practice acts
• Partner with interdisciplinary care teams and families to keep everyone on the same page
• Uphold safety, infection control, and regulatory standards every single day
• Adapt your approach to different facilities, schedules, and patient needs with a smile

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
• Active state PT license, or the ability to obtain one
• Solid communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs
• A team-first mindset and a genuine passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Patient evaluation and clinical assessment
• Treatment plan development and progression
• Accurate and timely patient documentation
• Supervision and mentoring of PTAs and Rehab Techs
• Clear communication with patients, families, and care teams
• Knowledge of state and federal therapy regulations and facility guidelines
