Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Days, 8-hour shifts or 4x10s, Monday-Friday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Evaluate and treat patients to improve mobility, function, and strength
Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation programs
Document patient progress using Electronic Medical Records
Supervise PT Assistants and Aides in patient care
Communicate with physicians and staff to ensure quality care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and follow-up

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California (or plan to obtain)
Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
Minimum 1 year of experience in rehabilitation therapy
Proficiency in EMR and ICD-10 coding
Ability to lift 50 pounds and assist with patient mobility

Education

Degree in Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and treatment planning
Rehabilitation techniques and modalities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
EMR and documentation proficiency
Knowledge of HIPAA and OSHA regulations
