Physical Therapist
Location: Merced, CA
Start Date: 06-08-2026
End Date: 09-07-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: 8 hours, flexible to 10 hours for PT travelers, varying shifts including weekends with 10 hour schedules splitting the weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to patients across various settings
- Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Utilize EMR technology like Cerner to document patient information
- Participate in the development and implementation of therapy programs and services
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Qualifications
- Current Physical Therapist license in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working in an acute care or outpatient setting
- Strong clinical and communication skills
Education
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program
Knowledge & Skills
- Physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
- EMR systems like Cerner
- Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
- Patient care planning and implementation
- Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
