Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM (flexible start/end times, 8-hour standard), plus 2 weekend shifts over 13-week assignment

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy assessments and treatments to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting
• Develop individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, strength, and functional independence
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care
• Document patient progress accurately in Meditech
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and discharge planning
• Utilize advanced equipment such as Bioness and BITS interactive computer system

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist license in Georgia (or compact license)
• 1+ years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation
• BLS certification required
• Experience with wound care preferred
• Familiarity with Meditech documentation system
• Ability to work flexible hours and weekends as needed

Knowledge & Skills

• In-depth knowledge of rehabilitation techniques and protocols
• Proficient in wound care management
• Skilled in using Meditech electronic health records
• Experience with Bioness neurostimulation devices
• Ability to use BITS interactive computer system for therapy
• Strong patient assessment and treatment planning skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
