Education

• program approved by The Commission on Accreditation in Physical
• Therapy Education (CAPTE), a successor organization of CAPTE, or an
• education program outside the United States determined to be substantially
• equivalent to physical therapist entry-level education in the United
• States by a credentials evaluation organization approved by the
• American Physical Therapy Association. [REQUIRED]
• Passed an examination for Physical Therapists approved
• by the state in which physical therapy services are provided. [REQUIRED]
• Licensed as a PT by the state in which
• practicing, unless licensure does not apply within state regulation [REQUIRED]
• One year experience caring for similar patient
• population as to be assigned. [REQUIRED]
• Basic knowledge of current, frequently used
• medications, including modes of administration, actions and side effects. [PREFERRED]
• Able to perform physical therapy assessment and
• treatment in the home setting without direct supervision. [PREFERRED]
• Strong interpersonal skills.[PREFERRED]
• Ability to work as a collaborative team member. [PREFERRED]
• Ability to understand and apply guidelines, policies
• and procedures.[PREFERRED]
• Ability to navigate and perform basic use of Microsoft
• Office products. [PREFERRED]
• Maintains a reliable mode of transportation
• and has the ability to drive safely during all day and night
• hours and in all types of inclement weather.[HIGHLY PREFERRED]
