Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver therapeutic interventions to post‑acute patients to improve mobility and function
• Document patient progress accurately and communicate updates to the interdisciplinary team
• Assist with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges in a skilled nursing facility setting
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques
• Maintain equipment cleanliness and ensure compliance with infection control standards

Qualifications

• Current Oklahoma Physical Therapist Assistant license
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Ability to work Monday‑Friday daytime hours
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic computer proficiency for electronic health records

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of skilled nursing facility regulations and documentation requirements
• Proficiency in gait training, therapeutic exercises, and functional mobility techniques
• Understanding of wound care basics and assistive device usage
• Ability to prioritize patient care tasks in a fast‑paced environment
• Familiarity with Medicare and Medicaid billing concepts for PT services
