Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing individualized patient care plans under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
• Perform therapeutic exercises, modalities, and manual therapy techniques to promote recovery and improve mobility.
• Monitor patient progress, document findings, and communicate changes to the treatment team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and sanitized.
• Provide compassionate support and education to patients and families about home exercise programs and injury prevention.

Qualifications

• Valid Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) certification or eligibility to obtain within 90 days.
• Minimum of 0 years of experience (entry-level) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercise principles and modalities.
• Familiarity with patient assessment and documentation tools.
• Ability to assist with manual therapy and assistive devices.
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems.
