Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and functional activities under the guidance of a Physical Therapist
• Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately
• Prepare treatment areas and equipment to ensure a safe, efficient environment
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in California
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Minimum 0 years of experience (entry‑level welcome)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow therapist directives and maintain accurate documentation

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of musculoskeletal and neurological rehabilitation techniques
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities and equipment
• Understanding of patient safety and infection control standards
• Effective time management and multitasking abilities
• Basic computer skills for electronic health record documentation
