Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, ensuring each session meets clinical goals
• Document all treatments, progress notes, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record
• Assist in developing and updating individualized treatment plans based on patient assessments
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and proper use of therapeutic equipment
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree from an accredited PTA program preferred
• Minimum 0 years of experience for entry‑level candidates
• Clear background check and immunization compliance
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and therapeutic exercise techniques
• Manual therapy and modality application
• Electronic medical record documentation
• Time management and multitasking in a fast‑paced environment
• Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
