Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering therapeutic interventions to patients recovering from brain injury and stroke
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop individualized care plans
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment protocols as needed
• Participate in adaptive sports and recreational therapy sessions to enhance patient engagement
• Support patients in achieving functional goals and improving quality of life

Qualifications

• Physical Therapist Assistant certification or equivalent
• Minimum of 0 years experience (entry-level positions welcome)
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to patient-centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and evaluation
• Therapeutic exercise prescription
• Assistive device usage
• Rehabilitation protocols for brain injury and stroke
• Documentation and charting
