Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the Physical Therapist in evaluating and treating patients with musculoskeletal and neurological conditions
• Implement therapeutic exercise programs and modalities under supervision
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain compliance with regulatory standards
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal outcomes

Qualifications

• Current Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in North Carolina
• Associate degree from an accredited PTA program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently within a team environment
• Commitment to providing compassionate, patient‑centered care

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and treatment planning
• Therapeutic exercise techniques
• Modalities administration (e.g., ultrasound, electrical stimulation)
• Electronic medical record documentation
• Safety and infection control protocols
