Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on physical therapy treatments that help patients regain strength, balance and confidence
• Partner with the supervising Physical Therapist to carry out individualized care plans
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises, gait training and functional mobility work
• Document progress accurately and promptly so the whole care team stays in sync
• Educate residents and families on safe techniques they can carry into daily life
• Collaborate with nursing and rehab colleagues to celebrate every milestone, big or small

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in New Hampshire, or the ability to obtain one
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• Current BLS certification
• Comfortable working in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation setting
• New grads and experienced travelers are both warmly welcome to apply
• Reliable, compassionate and ready to jump in with a great attitude

• Therapeutic exercise and manual technique know-how
• Gait, transfer and mobility training skills
• Strong patient assessment and progress tracking abilities
• Clear, kind communication with patients, families and teammates
• Electronic medical record documentation experience
