Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on therapy interventions that follow each patient's physical therapy plan of care
• Help patients rebuild mobility, improve function, and celebrate real progress toward their goals
• Document patient progress and response to treatment accurately and on time
• Guide patients and families through education and home exercise programs they can actually stick with
• Communicate patient status clearly with the supervising Physical Therapist and care team
• Champion safety, infection control, and compliance standards in every interaction
• Partner with an interdisciplinary team to make each patient's recovery smoother and more successful

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Active state PTA license, or the ability and willingness to obtain one
• Comfortable following treatment plans and adjusting as the supervising PT directs
• A true team player who collaborates well with interdisciplinary teams
• A compassionate, patient-first mindset, because the people you treat are the whole point
• Able to commit to a 13-week assignment starting as soon as possible
