Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Evenings, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, occasional weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $37 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform blood draws and specimen collections with care and professionalism
Accurately label and process laboratory samples for testing
Provide exceptional patient service and ensure a positive experience
Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety protocols
Collaborate with lab team to support timely diagnosis and treatment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required
Current BLS certification (Healthcare Provider Level)
Completion of an approved Phlebotomy Training Program OR at least 1 year of recent phlebotomy experience
Phlebotomist Certification preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in venipuncture and capillary puncture techniques
Knowledge of proper specimen handling and labeling
Familiarity with infection control and safety protocols
Strong communication and patient interaction skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced laboratory environment
