Shift Type: Varies - rotating shifts, days, evenings, nights as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Bill Rate: $135,000 - $168,000 per year

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare, fill, label, and dispense medications safely and accurately
- Monitor patient drug therapies for safety and effectiveness
- Provide drug information and education to healthcare professionals and patients
- Oversee pharmacy operations and manage inventory
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with regulations
- Participate in emergency response teams and clinical protocols
Qualifications
- Current, active license to practice pharmacy in the State of New Mexico
- 1-2 years of hospital pharmacy experience preferred; new graduates with strong clinical rotations considered
Education
- Graduate of an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- BS in Pharmacy required; PharmD preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical knowledge of pharmacology and therapeutics
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to make sound clinical decisions independently
- Proficiency in pharmacy information systems and automated dispensing technology
- Commitment to patient safety and quality improvement
