• Unit Information: Peds Location: Mission Hospital Address: 509 Biltmore Ave Asheville, NC 28801 Floor: 3P Building: G General Information Tell us about the unit (s ) : PEDS and Oncology Number of Beds – 19 total (13 pediatric beds with 6 oncology beds) Number of Staff – 22 total ( 10 peds and 12 oncology) Type of staff: always staffed with at least 1 oncology nurse per day. Day Shift – 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RT s, 1 PCT Night Shift – 4 RNs, 1 charge RN, 1 RTs , 1 PCT Patient Ratios – 1:3, 1:4 , 1:5 Type of equipment - Alaris pumps EMR - Cerner Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Pediatric experience in hospital Pediatric Oncology List typical procedures performed on unit(s): Best personality Fit: Detail oriented and organized REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: PALS, BLS and for oncology need APHON Floating Area ( s ) : P ICU , NICU Dress Code : Scrub Color /Attire – all navy blue or white top Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines . Weekends and On call (if any) 6 weekend shifts with 2 being Saturdays
