Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, every 3rd weekend
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls from smaller hospitals requesting specialist consults or patient transfers
- Coordinate with providers and nurses to arrange safe and timely patient transfers
- Use critical thinking to assess patient needs and connect them with the right resources
- Deliver compassionate customer service, acting as a patient advocate over the phone
- Document all interactions and patient updates accurately in Epic
Qualifications
- Active RN license required
- BLS certification required
- Epic experience required
- Emergency or critical care nursing background strongly preferred
- Excellent phone communication and customer service skills

- Emergency care and critical care concepts
- Patient triage and transfer coordination
- Epic electronic health record proficiency
- Critical thinking and problem-solving
- Strong interpersonal and phone communication skills
