Roles & Responsibilities

• Circulate surgical cases and keep the operating room running smoothly from first incision to final count
• Prepare and verify the sterile field, instrumentation, and supplies before every procedure
• Partner closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and scrub techs to anticipate needs before they arise
• Document intraoperative care accurately and completely in the electronic record
• Perform sponge, needle, and instrument counts to protect every patient
• Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and dignity throughout the surgical experience
• Jump in for call coverage one night a week and rotate through weekends and holidays

Qualifications

• Active Oregon RN license
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• Hands-on operating room circulating experience
• Comfort with a call rotation, weekend coverage, and holiday rotation
• Completion of the Trinity skills checklist and specialty competency testing
• Up-to-date immunizations and health documentation including COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Tdap, influenza, varicella, and Hepatitis B
• Ability to pass a 10-panel drug screen, color vision check, and fit test
• A team-first attitude and a genuine passion for surgical patient care
