Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver hands-on occupational therapy interventions that follow the supervising OT plan of care
• Help patients rebuild strength, confidence, and functional independence in their daily lives
• Document patient progress accurately and on time, keeping the care team fully in the loop
• Guide patients and their families through education that makes recovery feel achievable
• Communicate patient status clearly with your supervising Occupational Therapist
• Champion safety, infection control, and compliance protocols across every interaction

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license, or the ability and willingness to obtain one
• Strong teamwork mindset and a genuine passion for patient care
• Comfort working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Familiarity with state and federal therapy regulations and facility guidelines
