Roles & Responsibilities

• Bring the OT plan of care to life by implementing therapy interventions that help patients thrive
• Document patient progress accurately and on time so every win is captured
• Empower patients and their families through education and encouragement
• Keep your supervising OT in the loop with clear, timely updates on patient status
• Champion safety, infection control and compliance protocols every single shift
• Help patients rebuild strength and independence in their everyday activities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license, or the ability to obtain one
• A team player who loves collaborating with OTs, nurses and fellow therapists
• Strong patient care instincts and a genuine heart for helping others
• Comfortable working under the supervision of a licensed OT in a skilled nursing setting
• Dependable, detail-oriented and ready to jump in with both feet
