Roles & Responsibilities

• Bring the supervising OT's plan of care to life through hands-on therapy interventions
• Help patients rebuild strength, confidence, and independence in everyday activities
• Document patient progress accurately and on time so nothing falls through the cracks
• Coach patients and their families on techniques they can use long after therapy ends
• Keep the supervising OT in the loop on patient status and any changes you notice
• Champion safety, infection control, and compliance in every session

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active COTA state license, or the ability to obtain one
• Comfortable working under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• A genuine passion for patient care and helping people regain function
• Strong teamwork skills and clear, caring communication
