Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy services that help patients rebuild the daily skills they care about most
• Evaluate each patient's functional abilities and craft individualized treatment plans that fit their goals
• Guide patients through therapeutic activities focused on self care, mobility, and independence
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists to keep every care plan aligned and effective
• Educate patients and their families on adaptive strategies and equipment so progress continues at home
• Document evaluations, treatments, and outcomes accurately and on time
• Adapt treatment approaches as patients progress, celebrating every milestone along the way

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in New Hampshire, or the ability to obtain one before you start
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current BLS certification
• Prior experience in a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting is a great plus
• A team player attitude with strong communication skills
• Willingness to wear a photo badge and carry a state or federal issued ID while on site
• New grads with solid clinical rotations are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning skills
• Familiarity with therapeutic exercises, ADL retraining, and adaptive equipment
• Comfort with electronic documentation systems
• Clear, warm communication with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
• Time management that keeps your caseload and documentation running smoothly
• Flexibility and patience when patient needs shift day to day
