Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients with personalized, age-appropriate therapy plans
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to set goals and remove barriers to discharge
• Educate patients and families on treatment procedures, assistive devices, and home programs
• Monitor program effectiveness and develop new initiatives to improve outcomes
• Provide clinical supervision to OTAs in a supportive, collaborative environment
• Document evaluations, treatment plans, and discharge summaries accurately and thoroughly

Qualifications

• Occupational Therapist licensed by the North Dakota State Board of Occupational Therapy
• OTR/L certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
• Minimum 2 years of experience in inpatient and/or outpatient settings

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient evaluation and treatment planning abilities
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Experience working with interdisciplinary care teams
• Ability to supervise and mentor OTAs effectively
• Comfortable using EMR systems such as Point Click
