Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to help students achieve their educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success
• Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students needs
• Provide direct therapy services in fine motor, sensory integration, and self-care skills
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal setting
• Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes

Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist license in Alaska (must be currently active)
• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• School-based experience is a plus, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented school environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of pediatric development and school-based therapy practices
• Skills in assessment, evaluation, and IEP development
• Ability to adapt therapy activities to individual student needs
• Familiarity with sensory integration and fine motor interventions
