Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled occupational therapy across inpatient hospital, long term care and outpatient clinic settings
• Evaluate patients with orthopedic, neurological and musculoskeletal conditions and build personalized treatment plans
• Support developmentally delayed pediatric patients and collaborate on local school visits
• Provide home care visits that help patients regain independence where they live
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurse practitioners, physical therapists and speech therapists
• Educate patients and families on adaptive strategies, safety and long term wellness goals

Qualifications

• Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
• Active or pending Montana Occupational Therapy license, licensure is handled upon acceptance
• New grads and early career therapists are absolutely welcome, less than 1 year of experience is fine
• Comfort working with a varied caseload across inpatient, long term care, outpatient and home settings
• A team player mindset with a genuine passion for rural community health
• Strong communication skills for working with patients, families and a small collaborative medical staff
