Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat patients based on physician orders and referrals
• Develop and update personalized treatment and discharge plans
• Deliver therapy focused on improving independence in daily living skills
• Document services accurately and in a timely manner
• Supervise Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) in line with practice acts and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for cohesive patient care
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program (MOT or OTD)
• Active California state OT license or ability to obtain one
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills

• Occupational therapy evaluation and treatment techniques
• Treatment planning and discharge planning
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and communication
