Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $69 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging and PET/CT procedures with precision and care
Operate state-of-the-art Siemens PET/CT Biograph Vision and Siemens E.CAMs
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients according to protocol
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process
Maintain accurate patient records and image documentation
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) certification required
PET experience required
DOT Certification preferred at start, required within 90 days for extension
Valid driver's license required at submittal
Must live 50+ miles from Omaha to qualify as a traveler

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in PET/CT and nuclear medicine imaging
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Familiarity with radiation safety and badge use
Comfortable with artificial nail policy (no artificial nails allowed in patient care areas)
