Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 06-16-2026

End Date: 09-15-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with rotating weekday call after 4:30 PM and rotating weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying studies
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients
Operate GE imaging equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize patient care

Qualifications

Current California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (CA NMTL)
BLS certification required
Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Proficiency with GE imaging equipment
Familiarity with Radnet and Merge Unity PACS

Knowledge & Skills

Nuclear medicine imaging techniques and protocols
Radiopharmaceutical preparation and administration
Patient care and radiation safety
Equipment troubleshooting and quality control
Effective communication and teamwork
