Education

• Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT (RT) (MR), WA license
• How many scanners/rooms does this department have? One Toshiba 1.5T
• Will they have to float/cover any other areas? No, MRI only
• Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties MRA, MRI, Brain, spine, pelvic, knees, hips, shoulders, extremities. No Cardiac. No Pacemakers.
• Experience or 'Must have' skills Be able to work solo
• Average # of scans/studies per day 5
• EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC, Mc Kesson PACS
• Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Toshiba Vantage 1.5T
• Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Adrienne Turner – Manager
• Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
• Radiologist in-house? Mon – Fri 8am – 5pm
• Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) YES
• Shifts & Scheduling Monday - Friday from 11:30am - 8pm
• Weekend Requirement On-Call Only for Holidays
• Holiday Requirement Yes – in rotation with 2 other techs
• Call or Standby requirement? On-Call rotation every other weekend 9a-6p only for Holidays
• Scrub Color/Dress Code: Are scrubs provided? Any scrub type works, Just clean and presentable
• Department specific orientation Given by the staff upon arrival
• Additional Notes Critical Access Hospital, not exceeding busy, but needs a self-starter who can work alone and get the job done with great attention to detail.
