Education

• Certs/ARRT & other specialty certification requirements ARRT
• How many scanners/rooms does this department have? 3 Siemens Aera 1.5T, Trio 3T, Espree 1.5t
• Will they have to float/cover any other areas? Just MRI
• Common types of imaging/studies performed & Job Duties We do pretty much everything. Cardiac, Breast, Some Angio
• Experience or 'Must have' skills Trauma Level I
• Average # of scans/studies per day 35-40
• EMR &/or PACS (Picture Archive & Communication System: software & hardware) do they use EPIC, Mc Kesson (Moving to Merge in June)
• Department Specific Equipment (GE, Phillips, Siemens) Siemens
• Radiology Supervisor or Lead Tech Brooke Hast - Supervisor, MRI Coordinator - Victoria Mitchell
• Do they use RRA's (Registered Radiology Assistants)? No
• Radiologist in-house? Yes during the day. Resident at night.
• Do they have to start IV's? (if applicable to the department) Yes
• Shifts & Scheduling 3 - 12 hour shifts, days vary per week, 7a-730p

• we have 24/7 coverage, so whatever the call requirement is, it is a backup for when overnights are on PTO or call out sick etc. Otherwise I have MRI techs staffed
