Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform routine MRI exams on a diverse patient population including inpatients, ICU, and ER patients.
• Operate and maintain Siemens 3T Skyra and 1.5T Symphony scanners independently.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and high-quality diagnostic imaging throughout the procedure.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to optimize imaging outcomes.
• Accurately document and manage patient imaging records in Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• ARRT certification preferred or ARMRIT certification required.
• Valid New York State license with injection endorsement.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience performing MRI scans independently.
• Proficiency with routine MRI exams in an acute care setting.

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in MRI scanning techniques and protocols.
• Experience operating Siemens 3T and 1.5T MRI equipment.
• Strong knowledge of Epic EMR for patient documentation.
• Ability to work confidently in a busy hospital environment with ICU and ER patients.
• Excellent patient care and communication skills.
