Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including obtaining vital signs and documenting symptoms
• Administer injections and immunizations as ordered by providers
• Assist with medical procedures and maintain patient records
• Perform POCT and quality controls, and track test results
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required
• Medical Assistant certification from an accredited program (NHA or AMCA)
• BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• At least 1 year of related medical assisting experience

Education

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) certificate
