Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 0645-1915 and 1845-0715, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum patients
Interpret fetal heart rate strips and respond to changes in maternal/fetal status
Titrate IV drips including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium as ordered
Float to Med-Surg and ER as needed to support hospital-wide patient care
Collaborate with charge nurse and CNAs to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes
Adapt quickly to changing patient needs and unit demands

Qualifications

Current RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required (AHA)
Previous travel experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal heart rate strips
Strong critical thinking and communication skills
Comfortable floating to different units as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in fetal strip interpretation and quality metrics
Knowledge of obstetric and neonatal care, including high-risk conditions like hypertension and GDM
Experience with electronic medical records, specifically Meditech
Skilled in patient assessment, IV therapy, and emergency response
Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
