Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using the nursing process
• Provide antepartum and postpartum care with confidence and expertise
• Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond quickly to changes
• Educate and support patients and families during the childbirth journey
• Guide and mentor other nursing personnel to maintain high standards
• Ensure a safe environment for patients, visitors, and newborns

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license
• Current BLS certification
• AWHONN/Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
• DCI/BVP certification
• Experience in Labor and Delivery, antepartum, and postpartum care
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to respond calmly to changing conditions
• Commitment to patient safety and family-centered care
