Location: Phoenix, AZ

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (36 hours/week, one day off)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform interventional radiology procedures including chemo embolization, Y-90, GJ tube placements, IVC filters, vascular access, and angiograms
Maintain sterile field and ensure patient safety during procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team including IR techs, CT, nuclear medicine, and ultrasound techs
Serve as charge nurse as assigned
Provide care for outpatient and inpatient populations, including critical care and telemetry patients
Document accurately in Cerner EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license with compact privilege preferred
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Neuro IR experience required
Level I Trauma experience required
IR experience or ICU with IR experience considered
Must pass dysrhythmia exam prior to acceptance
Ability to successfully complete SIMs Lab for Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Cerner EMR
Strong understanding of sterile technique and maintaining sterile field
Knowledge of body IR procedures: chemo embo, Y-90, GJ, IVC filters, vascular access, angiograms, CT/US-guided biopsies, thoras, paras
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
