Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and participate in the nutritional care process for the in‑patient population
• Collaborate with food service, nursing, and medical staff to ensure clear understanding of patient needs
• Ensure diet‑related physician orders are followed
• Cover the outpatient dietitian as needed
• Participate in quality improvement programs and the Joint Commission process

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field
• 1 year of hospital experience as a dietitian
• AK Dietitian License (or willingness to obtain)
• Registered Dietitian certification
• BLS (AHA) certification

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Dietetics or related field
