ICU RN - Cardiovascular ICU
Location: Overland Park, Kansas
Start Date: 09-28-2026
Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM; 3 weekend shifts per 4 weeks
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $54 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide critical care to ICU patients with compassion and expertise
- Manage telemetry and pressor therapy to stabilize patients
- Administer inotropes and monitor response
- Cannulate and manage ECMO circuits
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary team for optimal outcomes
- Document patient care accurately in Meditech
- Ensure patient safety and quality standards are met
Qualifications
- 1+ year ICU experience, preferably in CVICU
- ACLS/BLS or ALS/BLS certification
- Charge nurse experience preferred for night shift
- Strong knowledge of telemetry, pressor, inotrope, pacemaker, chest tube, cath/EP lab recovery, pericardial drains, open heart procedures
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
