Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced environment
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patient needs with speed and accuracy
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal outcomes
• Administer medications and treatments per protocols
• Monitor and document patient progress and responses
• Educate patients and families on discharge plans and follow-up care

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Connecticut (or compact license accepted)
• Current BLS, PALS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year of emergency nursing experience preferred
• Ability to thrive in a high-stress, dynamic setting
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in emergency nursing procedures and protocols
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR)
• Excellent teamwork and collaboration abilities
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and stay organized
• Compassionate patient-centered approach
