Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality echocardiograms including 2D, M-mode, and Doppler studies
Assist with stress echocardiograms and transesophageal echoes (TEE)
Prepare and educate patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and safety
Accurately acquire and document images for cardiologist interpretation
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to optimize patient care
Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with standards

Qualifications

Active ARDMS or CCI certification in adult echocardiography required
Current BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of recent experience as an Echo Tech
Strong communication and patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in 2D, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiography
Knowledge of cardiac anatomy, pathology, and hemodynamics
Experience with stress echo, TEE, and contrast studies
Expertise in ultrasound equipment operation and image optimization
